Application

The ends of the dental floss are wound around the middle fingers. The thumb and index finger guide the thread, with one finger always in the mouth and the thumb taut and supporting. The dental floss is gently inserted into the interdental spaces with a slight rocking motion. It must not crack, otherwise too much force is used and there is a risk of cutting into the gums.

Rosary technique: tie a piece of floss about 40 cm long into a loop at the ends, hold it with both hands and carefully guide the floss into the spaces between the teeth and press it against the tooth. Continue winding a little further so that there is a fresh piece available for each interdental area.
